I always visit the venue first to check the layout, specifically ensuring the mandap is positioned to handle wind or slope issues, so the structure stays perfect throughout your ceremony, whether it is by a pool or on a riverside. When planning an outdoor wedding or an event in a destination like Jim Corbett or Rishikesh, the biggest challenge is rarely the look; it is the logistics. I have been setting up events since 2016, and I have learned that the best decor is the kind that stays standing. ### Why Outdoor Planning Differs - **Ground Stability:** For farmhouse lawns in Noida, I assess the soil before setting up heavy stages. If the ground is uneven, we build proper sub-flooring to ensure your mandap sits level and your guests have a solid surface to walk on. - **Wind & Weather:** If we are doing a riverside setup or an open-lawn event, I use sturdy trussing systems hidden by decor. This ensures your drapes and floral installations do not shift when the wind picks up. - **Lighting Requirements:** Outdoor venues often lack sufficient power points. I bring portable generators and run silent wiring so your fairy lights, chandeliers, and stage spots never flicker or fail during the ceremony. ### My Approach to Destination Events I treat outstation events with the same hands-on approach as my local Noida projects. I personally oversee the team on-site, ensuring that the local floral and furniture vendors are up to standard. Whether you want a simple bamboo canopy or a full-scale floral arch, I make sure the decor complements the scenery rather than competing with it. My goal is for the venue to look like it was meant for your specific event. ## About Hemant Events I'm Hemant, and I honestly love the challenge of an outdoor venue. Whether it is a poolside mandap here in Noida or a riverbank setup in Rishikesh, my team and I focus on getting the practical details right first. We make sure the decor holds up against the elements so you can just enjoy the view.
