This setup is compact enough for small Noida homes but creates the same professional look you see in those big destination wedding photos. When planning your Haldi or Mehendi, the goal is to make the space feel joyful and ready for photos without cluttering the area where rituals actually happen. I use a combination of traditional and modern elements to achieve this balance. ### My Approach to Decor My designs rely on high-impact, simple materials. I use marigold (genda) strings as the backbone of the setup because they hold up well in outdoor heat and look bright on camera. For the Mehendi, I often incorporate quirky props like Rajasthani umbrellas or embroidered cushions to create a folk-inspired, relaxed seating area. ### Making It Work for Your Space Whether you are hosting at a farmhouse in Noida or in your own living room, the decor needs to be functional. I avoid heavy, cumbersome structures for home events. Instead, I use lightweight drapes and fairy lights that can be adjusted to fit your specific floor plan. - **Facade Transformation:** I use vertical fabric drops to mask plain walls or railings. - **Couple Seating:** I set up traditional diwans or jhulas that are comfortable for hours of rituals. - **Photo Corners:** I build dedicated selfie booths with props so guests have a space that is separate from the main ceremonial area, keeping your photos clean and clutter-free. I also provide custom solutions if you have a specific theme in mind, like pastel colours or a monochromatic yellow setup. My team handles the setup and teardown, so you don't have to worry about the logistics on the day of your event. ## About Hemant Events I am Hemant, and I love seeing how a simple backyard or hall can turn into a bright, colourful space with just the right mix of flowers and drapes. I personally manage the decor details for your Haldi and Mehendi, ensuring the setup is practical, durable, and ready for all your candid photos.
