We’ve always maintained that dance is a rigorous, professional craft, whether we're performing a tribute to Bollywood cinema or breaking down complex jazz foundations. These features show that our community's commitment to the art is finally being recognised as a legitimate career path. For a long time, the narrative in India has been that dance is just a hobby or a side hustle. That's why we do what we do—to change that perspective. Our features in the Delhi Times aren't just clippings in a scrapbook; they represent years of building a space where dancers, whether beginners or pros, can train, sweat, and actually build a life out of it. We love getting out into the city. You’ll see us in these features taking our work to the streets, literally. We’ve done tributes to iconic rain dances in Indian cinema and high-energy hip hop spots in local squares because dance shouldn't be hidden behind a closed studio door. We treat every session—whether it's an open-level drop-in or a technical intensive—with the same intensity you see in our public performances. We’re not here to make you look perfect. We’re here to help you get the technique right, understand the history, and most importantly, find your people. If you’re ready to stop hesitating and start moving, we’ve got a spot for you in the family. ## About Hashtag We’re Hashtag, and we’re on a mission to make dance a real career choice in India. We don't care if you have two left feet; we just want to see you show up, put in the work, and find your community. Join us, mess up, and let’s keep this movement growing.
