By stepping out of the classroom and into these shared celebrations, you get to practice speaking with peers from different backgrounds, removing the pressure that often comes with formal testing. We started Harvard English Academy because we saw too many students held back by the fear of making mistakes. When you are constantly worried about grammar rules, you stop expressing yourself. Our approach replaces that anxiety with community interaction. ### Why Community Matters Learning a language is an isolating process if you only do it through apps or textbooks. Our campus in Kammanahalli functions as a hub where you meet people with similar goals—whether they are preparing for IELTS, learning German for work, or picking up Kannada for daily life in Bangalore. ### Putting It Into Practice Our events, like our Onam celebrations or Independence Day gatherings, act as practical sessions. You aren't just eating or chatting; you are engaging in: - **Conversational Fluency:** Using new vocabulary in real-time scenarios rather than reciting from a script. - **Confidence Building:** Speaking in front of a friendly, supportive group, which is crucial for those tackling public speaking or interview prep. - **Cross-Cultural Exchange:** Understanding nuances, accents, and tones from peers, which is vital for any language learner. Whether you are looking for spoken English classes, foreign language certification like French or Spanish, or intensive IELTS coaching, you will find that our environment pushes you to speak up rather than stay silent. ## About Harvard English Academy I'm Nazia Khanam, and I founded this academy because I wanted a space where students felt like family, not just learners. We don't do boring, dry lectures. We foster a space where you can share a meal, celebrate our different cultures, and ultimately, build the confidence to speak your mind.
