It is about listening, reacting, and finding that perfect pocket for your song. In the world of ghazals, less is almost always more. My approach, deeply rooted in the Punjab Gharana, focuses on subtle nuances—the ghost notes, the perfect resonance, and the space between the beats. When you bring me on for a recording or a jam, I am not just a percussionist; I am a listener first. ### How I Approach Ghazal Sessions Every ghazal has a unique story, and my tabla playing is there to highlight that narrative. If it is a studio project, I work to ensure the tabla adds depth without cluttering the mix. If we are doing a live unplugged set, my focus is on maintaining a dynamic flow that matches the energy of the vocalist. ### Why Collaborate?
