I bring the same studio-grade gear and focus on clarity that I use for recordings with producers like Sachin-Jigar to every live stage I perform on. My work is defined by the intersection of classical training and modern application. Having trained at BHU, my foundation is strictly classical, but my output adapts to the specific demands of the Mumbai music industry. In the studio, I focus on sonic fidelity. Whether recording acoustic sitar for devotional tracks at Mahadev Studio or tracking electric Zitar for Bollywood soundtracks like 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke', I ensure the instrument's texture cuts through the mix. For live events, the setup shifts. I understand the dynamics required for high-energy stages like 'Saregamapa Li'l Champs' versus intimate mehfils. I have been fortunate to share the stage with artists like Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, and Pt. Ronu Majumdar, which has refined my ability to blend with orchestras, tabla players, and modern band setups.
