## About My Credentials & Positive Training Philosophy

My training approach is strictly force-free. Whether we are addressing complex reactivity or building puppy foundations, I rely on science-backed methods that focus on rewards rather than fear. This ensures the bond between you and your dog grows stronger, rather than breaking under the pressure of outdated, harsh techniques.

### Training is About Connection, Not Control

When I say 'Train, Don't Complain,' I mean it. My philosophy is built on the reality that dogs are part of our family, and they should be guided with empathy. I do not use dominance-based training or tools that induce fear because those methods suppress symptoms without fixing the underlying anxiety or confusion.

### My Commitment to Continuous Learning

Training is a field that evolves rapidly. To provide the best possible support, I make it a priority to stay updated with current canine science. My credentials aren't just paper; they are the result of ongoing education and hands-on experience, including:

*   **Trauma and Aggression:** I have completed intensive coursework on handling trauma in dogs, which is essential for working with reactive or anxious cases.
*   **Advanced Canine Behavior:** I hold a Level 3 Advanced Canine Behaviour certification, which helps me understand the 'why' behind challenging behaviors.
*   **Scent Detection:** Beyond obedience, I pursue activities like scent detection to build confidence in dogs—even my own dog, Vanilla, and I are active participants in these programs.
