Today, we manage a busy FSSAI-certified kitchen where every menu is still designed by Vidisha, ensuring your daily tiffin is always balanced, low-oil, and tastes like it came from a home kitchen, not a factory. When we started HappyGrub, it was manual, chaotic, and completely personal. We spent our evenings messaging customers one by one to confirm orders and hand-packed over 100 meals with a two-person team. We had no grand plan, just a simple frustration with 'healthy' food that tasted like cardboard. Today, the scale is different, but the mission is identical. We have proudly served over 100,000 meals across Mumbai, earning features in LBB Mumbai and Curly Tales along the way. That recognition feels like a massive win for two people who just wanted to bring the taste of 'ghar ka khana' to busy professionals. The most exciting part? Seeing which dishes become cult favorites. Our Handi Biryani has become a menu staple that our subscribers genuinely wait for. We have kept our process simple: seasonal vegetables, high-quality spices, and nutritionist-approved techniques that keep the calories low without touching the flavor. Whether you need a strict Jain meal, a diabetic-friendly lunch, or just a daily tiffin that feels like a reward, we are here to ensure you never have to choose between eating healthy and enjoying your food. ## About HappyGrub Hi, we are Vidisha and Aakash. I am the nutritionist behind the menus and he is the one who handles the tech. We started this because we were tired of healthy food that tasted like diet supplements and we knew we could do better for Mumbai.
