I crochet the limbs, head, and outfits individually before carefully sewing them together. This invisible joinery is why my dolls hold their shape so well even after lots of hugs. When you order a custom doll or a pet replica, you are not just getting a toy. You are getting hours of careful assembly. I prefer using mercerized cotton yarn for my human dolls because it gives that crisp, clean look you see in my photos. For the cuddly plushies, I switch to super soft chenille yarn. Whether it is a custom replica of your pet or a specific anime character, the process always stays the same: I sketch the design, I stitch the individual parts, and then I assemble. It takes time, but seeing a pile of yarn parts turn into a face with personality is what keeps me going. Because everything is handmade, there might be tiny variations, but that is exactly what makes your piece a 'handstory' unique to you. ## About Hand Stories by Prabh Hi, I'm Prabhjot.
