My acrylic canvases are stories told in color. ## Photos and videos - ![This acrylic painting on canvas is my recreation of a beautiful photograph from a documentary on Kathak. If you are commissioning a custom piece based on a photograph, we will start by discussing the composition and size before I begin layering the acrylics to match the mood you are looking for. ### My Approach to Acrylics When I work with acrylics, I am not just filling a canvas with pigment. I am trying to capture the quiet weight of a memory. Whether it is the cool blue of a doorway in a Pahaad wale ghar or the warmth of a shared tea in a documentary still, I use bold brushstrokes to define the emotion of the scene. **What you can expect from these pieces:** * **Originality:** Each painting is a 1-of-1 creation. You will never find two that are identical because I paint by memory and feeling, not by a stencil. * **Material Quality:** I use premium acrylics on either canvas board or cold press paper. Every finished piece is varnished to ensure it resists UV damage and dust, keeping the textures alive for years. * **Custom Commissions:** I love turning your photos or weird dreams into art. Whether you want a portrait of your pets or a landscape from a trip that meant the world to you, we can collaborate. I usually work on sizes ranging from A4 up to 12x16 inches. ### Caring for Your Art Since these are physical paintings, they are sturdy but need a little love. Because they come varnished, you can gently wipe them with a dry cloth if dust settles. I ship them unframed to ensure they travel safely without glass breaking, but they are sized to fit standard frames you can find at any local shop. If you have a specific space in your home that needs a particular color palette or vibe, just share a photo of the wall, and I can suggest a piece that fits perfectly. ## About Malvika Hi, I'm Malvika.
