Because they are stoneware, they are surprisingly durable. Just treat them like the tiny pieces of ceramic art they are, and avoid dropping them on hard surfaces. I often say that pottery helps me quiet my mind, and these badges are the smallest, sweetest version of that peace. When I am not throwing large vases on the wheel, I spend my time sculpting these miniature stories. From quirky cat faces to little nature-inspired motifs, every badge is unique because my hands are the only tool I use to shape them. These are not mass-produced pins. They are fired stoneware—a sturdy, earthy clay—finished with a glossy glaze that makes the hand-painted details pop.
