I use extensive root crimping to build a secure base, which adds natural volume and helps hold heavy accessories like fresh jasmine or temple jewelry in place for hours. This technique ensures your style stays intact through long ceremonies without pulling or drooping. Creating a style that lasts through an entire wedding day is not just about the final pin placement. It starts with the foundation. **The Pre-Styling Foundation** Before I pick up a curling tong, I focus on root crimping. Many brides worry about their hair falling flat during long ceremonies, especially in Bangalore's humidity. Crimping adds necessary texture and grip at the roots. This creates a solid anchor for heavy traditional jewelry like the Jada Billai or heavy gajra strings. Without this step, heavy accessories can slide or cause headaches by the end of the ceremony. **Extension Integration** For the grand South Indian look, length is often key.
