## About Editorial & Photoshoot Glam

For editorial work, the structure must withstand hours of harsh studio lights and constant movement. I use specific product layering to minimize flyaways and maximize shine, ensuring that sleek ponytails maintain their sharp silhouette and waves keep their definition from the first frame to the final shot.

Photoshoot hairstyling demands a different technical approach than event styling. Where party hair prioritizes comfort and durability, editorial hair prioritizes shape, texture, and how the style interacts with the camera lens.

### The Editorial Process
My focus in this studio setting is on clean, high-impact aesthetics. Whether the brief calls for architectural slick-backs or voluminous Hollywood waves, the prep work involves heavy crimping for root lift and the precise use of humidity-resistant sprays to eliminate frizz. Because studio lights can highlight every stray hair, I pay close attention to smoothing and finishing techniques that create a mirror-like shine.

### Working with Creative Teams
Editorial hair is rarely a standalone element. I work closely with photographers and makeup artists to ensure the hairstyle complements the styling and lighting of the shoot. If the look requires extension blending or volume boosting to achieve a high-fashion, structural effect, I handle the prep off-camera so we are ready to shoot immediately. I understand the pace of a professional set in Mumbai and ensure the hair remains flawless through multiple outfit changes and pose adjustments.
