## About Intricate Braids & Parandas

The secret to a braid that stays put for 8+ hours, especially in Mumbai heat, is not just the braiding technique. It is the structural prep. I use heavy crimping and root lifting to create volume before I even start. It is how you can dance all night without your hair losing its shape or falling flat.

Braids are my absolute jam. Whether you want the classic desi feel of a paranda or a modern, textured fishtail, I build each style to last. 

### Why Prep Matters
Before we even start braiding, I focus on texture. I use root lifting and crimping to build a solid foundation. This is especially vital if you have thin hair but want that heavy, thick-braid look. I also expertly blend in extensions to add both length and volume. When you see those perfectly full, messy braids on my feed, that is why.

### Accessorizing Your Look
It is all in the details. I love adding accessories that tell a story. For mehendi and sangeet, I often incorporate colorful tassels, fan-shaped gota patti, or mirrors to keep the vibe festive. For the main wedding, I switch to delicate pearl chains, fresh flowers, or Swarovski crystals. If you have a specific accessory like a family heirloom or a custom paranda, bring it along. I will find a way to weave it in seamlessly.

* **The Fishtail:** Perfect for brides who want something intricate and romantic. It works well with fresh florals.
* **The Bubble Braid:** A modern, chic option that looks great with clean, sleek hair.
* **The Paranda Braid:** The ultimate traditional choice. I can style this with heavy thread work or gold jewelry to make it a statement piece.
* **The Messy Fishtail:** My go-to for mehendi functions because it looks better as the day goes on.
