For me, it’s all about helping other women feel confident. Had a client once, she said 'chennagilla ansodu' (felt it’s not nice) after a bad saree draping. We took our time, gave her a look she loved. My students, from Udupi, Hassan, everywhere – some scared to even hold a curler. Now they do bookings with pride. South Indian culture, those intricate braids and beautiful sarees of Namma Bangalore, that’s what I live for.
