## About Beyond the Bloom: Foliage & Fruit Artistry

Integrating fresh produce like green bananas, chilies, or pomegranates into high-end decor requires precise structural planning. These organic elements carry significant weight compared to cut flowers and necessitate custom metal armatures to stay secure, ensuring your installation remains stable and vibrant throughout your event without wilting or structural sagging.

My approach to foliage and fruit styling is rooted in the belief that beauty thrives in the unexpected. A successful installation is not just about placing items on a table; it is an architectural exercise that balances weight, moisture content, and visual composition.

When we incorporate produce, we are creating a sensory dialogue. A centerpiece featuring clusters of green bananas or deep-red pomegranates invites guests to look closer, turning a standard display into a talking point. I use heavy-duty Monstera leaves and other tropical foliage to provide the foundation, ensuring the structure is dense and rich with texture.

Everything is built to be viewed from 360 degrees. Whether it is a lobby installation in a luxury hotel or a dining display at a private event, I focus on the 'living' quality of the arrangement. This means selecting produce that maintains its integrity under event lighting and ensuring that the placement allows for daily maintenance or hydration where needed.

If you are planning an event that breaks away from the conventional floral look, this style offers a way to introduce deep color and organic movement. It feels less like a catalog setup and more like a deliberate, artistic choice that reflects a love for nature’s raw, untamed form.

## About Gurleen M Puri

I design for the curious. I love finding ways to make a space feel alive, which is why you will often find pomegranates or green chillies sharing the stage with fresh blooms in my work. My goal is to make your guests stop and look twice, creating a vibe that feels like a breath of fresh air.
