## About Residential Architecture

A home should feel like it truly belongs to you. Since 1996, we've been shaping houses that feel lived in, not just lived at. Every project is a back-and-forth between the land, materials, and your way of living.

### How We Design Homes

- We’re big on climate-responsive home design. Think homes that breathe easy with natural light, cross-breeze, deep verandahs, even vertical gardens. We use earthy stuff that just fits the vibe.
- Biophilic residential architecture is our jam. We like to blur the line between indoors and outdoors - lots of windows, open courtyards, greenery sneaking into the living room.
- The plan always starts with you. We sketch, talk, and dig into what you need so the layout fits your routines, balancing cozy nooks and open spaces for gatherings.
- Old homes aren’t just torn down. We do restorative home renovation - maybe punch in a skylight, maybe shuffle a few walls, but always keep the soul intact.

### How We Work With You

- It’s always a conversation, never a handover. We use rough sketches and mood boards, not just fancy renders, so you see the home take shape from the first idea.
- You’ll see us at the site a lot. We believe decisions are best made on the ground, not just on paper.
- We bring in custom furniture for homes straight from our workshop, so every bit of your space is tailored just for you.

Our homes are built to last, to hold stories, and to grow as your own story does.

## Meet your expert

[GroupDCA](https://mytribe.in/groupdca)

### My story

At groupDCA, we don’t just work—we live design. Been at it since 1996, ya, almost three decades. Amit and Rahul lead us, always pushing for that meaningful mix of context and craft. Our studio’s like a giant adda (hangout), where debates over materials get heated and laughter’s never far. We’re obsessed with learning, whether it’s a new software or just figuring out how sunlight hits a wall. It’s not just about projects—it’s about people, food, and those random moments that make us a real team.

### My work

- **Architecture & Interior Design Services**: We design homes, shops, offices, hotels—new builds, remodelling, adaptive reuse, all in our mix.
- **Contextual & Climate-Conscious Design**: We let the site and local heritage guide us, using climate wisdom and materials that belong, like rammed earth.
- **Experiential Spaces**: We shape spaces that go beyond function—think multi-level bookstores, food markets, retail that tells a story.
- **Restorative Design**: Instead of tearing down, we remodel and restore, giving old buildings a new life for today’s needs.
- **Material Honesty**: Materials matter. We pick them for feel, light, and character, not just looks—always a real conversation.
