Unlike traditional potted plants that require drainage plates and messy soil, a Kokedama simply needs to be dunked in a bowl of water whenever the moss ball feels light or dry. It is the cleanest way to keep a piece of nature on your desk or shelf without the hassle of heavy ceramic pots. At GreenLands, we have spent decades perfecting our plant displays, and the Kokedama remains one of our favorites for its raw, organic appeal. We use high-quality coco coir to wrap the roots, securing them with durable twine to create a structure that is both beautiful and functional. Because we have been working with plants since 1940, we know exactly which varieties thrive when grown this way—we typically select resilient Syngoniums, lush Philodendrons, and elegant Ferns that adapt perfectly to the humidity levels found in Mumbai homes. Whether you are looking to hang a piece of greenery near a window or want a unique centrepiece for your coffee table, these handcrafted spheres offer a clutter-free aesthetic. They are particularly popular for office desks where space is at a premium and you want to avoid water stains on furniture. Beyond just decoration, they make fantastic, sustainable gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, or office celebrations, serving as a long-lasting alternative to cut flowers. Our Kokedamas are available across our Mumbai locations, including our garden centres in Inorbit Mall, Malad, and Korum Mall, Thane. If you are new to plant care, our team is always happy to guide you on how to hydrate your moss ball properly so your plant stays vibrant for months to come. ## About GreenLands At GreenLands, we have been turning Mumbai into a garden city since 1940. We love the Kokedama style because it takes the beauty of a plant and strips away the clutter, leaving you with just the essentials.
