We build a multi-layer base using aggregate stone and geotextile fabric inside our FRP planters. This simple but critical step prevents soil leaching, stops your floor from staining during heavy monsoons, and ensures the plant roots stay healthy in containers. Balcony gardening in Mumbai comes with unique challenges, from limited space to harsh sun and heavy rain. We do not just drop off pots and leave. Our process begins by choosing the right vegetation for your specific sunlight conditions, whether that is shade-loving foliage for a covered balcony or resilient flowering shrubs for open spaces. We exclusively use Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) planters because they are lightweight, UV-protected, and durable enough to handle years of outdoor exposure without fading or cracking. These planters allow us to create modular privacy screens using varieties like Golden Bamboo or Areca Palm, which provide an instant green barrier from neighbors. For larger residential projects, we manage the logistics of bringing in mature trees or semi-bonsai specimens. Our team handles the heavy lifting, staking, and anchoring to ensure your new tree remains stable against high winds. We also use a custom soil mix of cocopeat, compost, and traditional soil to ensure your plants have the nutrients they need without adding excessive weight to your balcony structure. From a small apartment in Juhu to a villa in Thane, we treat every space as an opportunity to build a lasting green haven. ## About Greenkam I am Mayur, and I love getting my hands dirty on site with my crew.
