Before we lay a single stone or roll of turf, we assess your balcony or terrace for sunlight hours and airflow. It sounds technical, but it is the only way to make sure your space stays green next year and the year after, rather than becoming a high-maintenance headache. Many people avoid terrace gardens because they fear structural leakage or plant death. We address the reality of your space first. We use engineered lightweight soil—a mix of cocopeat and vermicompost—to ensure your slab load remains safe, and we install proper drainage layers like gravel or LECA balls so water never sits stagnant. Our process in cities like Pune, Mumbai, and Bengaluru always starts with that essential site visit. We do not just dump pots; we map out the micro-climate. Is your terrace facing the harsh afternoon sun? We choose hardy varieties like Bougainvillea or snake plants. Is it a shaded, cool corner? We look at philodendrons and ferns. This ensures the design thrives without you needing to fuss over it daily. This is not just about aesthetic value; it is about creating a balanced ecosystem that works with your lifestyle, whether you have a large villa backyard or a compact apartment balcony. Our team handles everything from the initial land leveling and turf installation to long-term maintenance advice, ensuring the space is truly functional. ## About Greendeck Agro We are the Greendeck team, and we have spent the last 7 years fixing that common problem where people bring home plants, only for them to fade away because life gets busy. We do not believe in pushing pots. We believe in building gardens that stick around and make your home feel alive.
