I manually adjust the water flow during installation to ensure you get a soothing, steady trickle that masks traffic noise, rather than a splashy, uneven sound that might disturb your neighbours or feel overwhelming in a quiet balcony setting. ### Our Approach to Stone Fountains We do not use plastic, synthetic resin, or artificial finishes. We work exclusively with real granite, sandstone, and river boulders. Each piece is hand-picked for its texture and natural character, ensuring it looks like it has been part of your balcony forever. ### The Mechanics of Silence * **Concealment:** The pump is the heart of any water feature, but it is also the least attractive part. We hide all hardware—the pump, the electrical wires, and the plastic reservoir—behind layers of river pebbles and humidity-loving plants like Peace Lilies or Papyrus. * **Low-Noise Pumps:** We use specific high-quality, low-noise submersible pumps designed for indoor or balcony settings. * **Soundscaping:** A fountain is only as good as the sound it makes. We tune the flow rate and the angle of the stone to match the acoustics of your specific balcony size. ### Maintenance These are low-maintenance additions to your home. Because we use a closed-loop system, water loss is minimal through evaporation. You simply need to top up the basin occasionally and ensure the pump filter is free of debris.
