We do not just teach these skills, we use them to build confidence. Whether it is constructing a tarp shelter or figuring out how to cook without a kitchen, you will see your child move from 'I cannot' to 'I did it' in just a few hours. ### Real Skills for Real Life We believe that outdoor survival skills are not just for experts. They are life skills that foster patience, problem-solving, and resilience in children. When we head out to our campsites near Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai, we focus on hands-on learning that feels like play. ### What You Will Learn * **Knot Tying:** From simple reef knots to secure bowlines, these are the foundation of everything from building shelters to securing gear. * **Fire Building:** We teach the science of heat and fuel, focusing on safety and the art of tending a flame without relying on matches. * **Shelter Construction:** Using tarps and natural materials, kids learn to identify the right spot and build a basic structure that keeps them dry and safe. * **Campfire Cooking:** Yes, we really do cook without fancy vessels, turning the process into a fun, slightly messy, but deeply rewarding experience. ### Led by Pros These are not just activities. Our sessions are led by experienced outdoorsmen like Sandeep Shetty, who brings decades of mountaineering and wilderness training to the table. He ensures that while the kids are getting muddy and having a blast, they are also learning to respect nature and follow safety protocols. It is this balance of freedom and guidance that makes our wilderness camps so special. ## About Green Panther We are Green Panther, a bunch of parents who decided that kids belong in the forest, not in front of screens. We host these survival camps because we love watching families get messy, learn actual skills, and leave the city buzz behind for a weekend of real adventure.
