For beach or heritage shoots, I prioritize the soft, golden light that makes skin tones look natural rather than harsh. If you have a specific location in mind, we should discuss the best timing to ensure we get the perfect shot before the light shifts. When working in outdoor settings, my approach changes based on the environment. Whether we are on the sandy shores of Goa or in a quiet, green space in Mangalore, I keep my gear minimal. This allows us to move quickly, chase the best light, and keep the interaction between me and you comfortable rather than rigid. ### Why Destination Shoots Matter Destination shoots offer a visual freedom that standard venues often cannot. We are not bound by the clock or the constraints of a banquet hall. My goal is to create images that look like they belong in a magazine but feel like your real, lived-in moments. ### My Approach to Travel I am based in Mangalore but frequently travel to Bangalore, Goa, and other locations for shoots. If you are planning a destination wedding, I include travel logistics in our initial discussion. I work with a small, efficient crew, which keeps setup times low and maximizes the time we have for actual shooting. ### Planning for the Elements - **Timing:** We will plan your shoot around sunrise or sunset to get the best natural light. - **Clothing:** Outdoor environments can be tricky. I advise on what fabrics and styles will move best in the wind or sand to ensure you look composed in every frame. - **Collaboration:** I often coordinate with your makeup artist or stylist beforehand. Getting ready details matter, and having a consistent look from the start of the day makes a significant difference in the final images. ## About Golds Photography My camera is an excuse to get lost in people’s stories, whether we are on a quiet Mangalorean beach or a remote destination venue. I focus on raw, honest emotion rather than stiff posing, helping you relax so the real you shines through.
