We do not just run drills; we integrate these movements into our daily 3.5-hour work cycles to naturally build the gross motor skills, spatial awareness, and confidence every child needs at this age. ### Building Foundations Through Movement In our Montessori program, physical activity is just as essential as academic learning. We recognize that young children learn best when their bodies are engaged. Our approach integrates sports into daily life rather than treating it as an isolated subject, ensuring children stay active throughout their 3.5-hour work cycle. ### The Sports & Play Curriculum Our activities are designed to support different stages of development: * **Gross Motor Development:** Using our 4,000 sq. ft. turf, children engage in obstacle courses, tunnel races, and ball games that improve balance, coordination, and stamina. * **Mindfulness & Flexibility:** Weekly yoga sessions introduce students to breath control, focus, and flexibility, teaching them to connect their body and mind. * **Collaborative Play:** Through team games and our annual 'Enthusia' sports day, children learn the value of cooperation, sportsmanship, and celebrating their peers' achievements. ### Why Our Space Matters Safety and accessibility are paramount. Our campus features a designated sandpit, soft-cushioned indoor areas for rainy days, and a green playground lined with fruit trees. Every corner is sized for tiny hands and feet, allowing children to challenge themselves—whether it is jumping into hoops or navigating an obstacle course—in a secure, monitored environment. By prioritizing active, joyful movement, we help children release energy, sharpen their focus, and develop a lasting love for staying healthy. ## About Global Montessori Centre and Play Home We started with a simple idea: let kids bloom, not just run a race. We’re mentored by NPS and focus on building hearts and confidence as much as developing physical strength, creating a space where every child finds their own pace.
