Because I use the traditional cold-process method, every batch must cure on my rack for at least 4 to 6 weeks. This waiting game is what makes the soap hard, gentle on your skin, and creates that signature creamy lather you simply cannot get from mass-produced, chemically-heavy bars. Making natural skincare is my happy place, and I want you to see exactly what goes into the products you use. My process starts with real, fresh ingredients you can actually pronounce. Whether I am brewing chamomile tea to create a soothing base, stirring in homemade coconut milk, or processing fresh pumpkin puree for those creamy salt bars, everything is done with intent and care. ### The Craft of Cold-Process I stick to cold-process saponification because it allows me to preserve the benefits of my botanical ingredients. When I work with ingredients like Mahua butter or fresh Moringa leaves, I am not just mixing them in; I am carefully balancing them so they stay active and effective in the final bar. You will notice that each loaf looks a bit different—that is the beauty of handmade. The swirls, the stenciled tops, and the texture on the bars are all applied by hand. ### More Than Just Soap I am also big on sustainability, which is why I put so much effort into my packaging. You might see me folding paper into what I call my "soap tuxedos." This is a completely plastic-free way to wrap each bar. It takes extra time and steady hands to fold and glue each one, but it means when you receive your order, there is zero waste to deal with. If you are interested in a specific scent or have sensitive skin, I often create custom loaves. Since I manage this as a one-person studio—and balance it with family life—it helps to check if I have a fresh batch ready or if you need to place a request for a custom set.
