A professional wedding shoot isn't just about the makeup; it is about timing, lighting, and keeping the bride calm while we work around the chaos of a busy venue. Whether it is a quick touch-up between rituals or managing the hair while the groom helps with the jewelry, this is the reality of the profession I teach. When you see a flawless bridal shot, it is easy to think it happened in a studio. The reality? Most of our work happens on-site, in hotel rooms, or busy dressing areas in Malad and beyond. My team and I focus on one thing: creating a space where the bride can actually breathe. ### What goes into the prep We do not just apply makeup. We manage the flow of the day. A big part of what I teach my students is logistics. You need to know how to work with photographers to get the light right, how to fix a dupatta or a saree pin when the tension is high, and how to maintain that glass skin finish even after hours of rituals. ### Why this matters Most courses give you theory. I believe if you have not wiped sweat off a bride’s brow or fixed a hair strand under pressure, you are not ready. This gallery is a testament to that. You will see me or my students working in the background, handling the nuances that make the final frame perfect. Whether it is a Sangeet party glam or a traditional Marathi bridal look, the technique is only half the battle. The other half is being the calmest person in the room. ### Training the next generation If you are looking to become a professional makeup artist in Mumbai, you need to understand that the magic is not a secret. It is hard work, using the right luxury products like Natasha Denona and Dior, and a whole lot of patience. My students join me on these actual projects because I want them to learn exactly what happens behind the chair. ## About Glamblush I am Vishakha. I started Glamblush because I was tired of seeing students graduate with theory but no idea how to handle a real wedding day.
