You will learn to swim in currents, execute paddle commands, and handle equipment under the watchful eye of our rescue team. This is a structured course where you learn to handle the river, not just ride it. ### Technical Training in Barapole Our water sports programs are not commercial joyrides. We operate out of Barapole, Coorg, because the river conditions provide the perfect mix of challenge and learning for beginners and enthusiasts alike. Every session begins with a mandatory briefing on hydrology and equipment maintenance. We teach you how to read the rapids, communicate paddling commands, and, most importantly, execute rescue drills. ### What You Will Learn * **River Navigation:** How to identify safe lines, eddies, and obstacles in white water. * **Paddle Technique:** Proper strokes for forward, backward, and turning maneuvers. * **Safety Protocols:** Handling capsize drills, swimming in currents, and using high-quality life jackets. * **Team Dynamics:** Understanding communication and rhythm within the raft.
