At our programs, you will not just observe nature; you will learn how to navigate it. Whether you are learning to rig a rope for a river crossing, reading a map in the woods, or finding your footing on a rock face, our instructors prioritize technique and safety protocols. You leave with practical outdoor skills and the confidence to handle terrain that once seemed intimidating. Unlike recreational tours, our programs are grounded in structured learning. We want you to understand the physics of your activity before you attempt it. ### Learning the Craft * **Water Sports:** In Dandeli and Malpe, we teach paddling commands, hydrology basics, and capsize drills before you even touch a rapid. We provide high-quality life jackets and motorized rescue boat supervision. * **Mountain Skills:** At our Ramanagara sites, it is about the mechanics of climbing. You learn proper knot tying, bouldering, and rappelling under the watch of certified instructors. We focus on teaching you how to manage your harness and safety gear independently. * **Wilderness Survival:** In areas like Ulavi and Barapole, we cover tent pitching, orienteering, and basic self-reliance. You will learn to identify local flora and navigate trails using traditional map-reading techniques, not just digital GPS. Our goal is simple. We want you to walk away with a GETHNAA participation certificate and the ability to handle the outdoors safely. We provide the camping tents, safety equipment, and expert supervision. You just need to bring the willingness to try. ## About General Thimayya National Academy of Adventure We are the General Thimayya National Academy of Adventure.
