We focus on the craft—the curve of a staircase, the play of light, and the texture of a wall—to make spaces feel truly alive. ## Photos and videos - ![A view of the sculptural staircase from the ground floor. Take our sculptural staircases—we blend structural precision with material artistry, such as black marble paired with brass. It is not just about getting you from one floor to another, but making that movement the focal point of your home. Architecture often settles for simple utility, but we look for the soul in the seams. Whether it is the specific pattern of a perforated screen that casts geometric shadows down a corridor, or integrating a water court—what we call a tranquilscape—inside your living room, these are not decorative afterthoughts. They are fundamental to how a space breathes. We apply Panchamahabhuta principles to ensure your home interacts with light, water, and air. A glass floor revealing a water body is a daring choice, but it is one that forces you to pause and appreciate your surroundings. When we work on details, we are usually on-site, guiding the masons and craftsmen to ensure the texture of the plaster or the sweep of a handrail is exactly as envisioned. It is a slow process, but that is the only way to ensure the home feels lived-in and timeless from the day you move in. If you are looking for an architect who obsesses over these minute transitions, let us talk. ## About Gayathri & Namith Architects We are Gayathri and Namith.
