I prioritize breathable materials like soft cottons and light georgettes for every outfit, ensuring the lining is smooth and non-irritating. When we work on the initial sketch, I focus on ease of movement so your child feels relaxed while looking their best. ### Beyond the Standard Fit Children come in all shapes and sizes, and standard off-the-rack clothing often misses the mark. My approach to kids' couture starts with their specific measurements, not just an age group. Whether it is a waistcoat set for a wedding or a themed birthday dress, I ensure the fit is snug enough for style but loose enough for playtime. ### My Design Process Everything starts with a conversation. We discuss your theme, your child's personality, and the level of activity planned for the event. 1. **Consultation:** We talk about what your child likes to wear. 2. **Sketching:** I create a technical sketch that maps out the outfit, including pockets, buttons, and closures that make dressing easy. 3. **Fabric Selection:** I select fabrics that are kind to young skin.
