I use a smart mix: 50% to 100% fresh flowers depending on your package, supported by high-quality artificial blooms for structural volume. This prevents the stage from looking patchy in photos while keeping the scent and texture of real roses or mogra right where you and your guests stand. A successful reception stage isn't just about the backdrop; it's about how that backdrop interacts with the venue's lighting and floor plan. My approach starts with the base—if you're hosting at a farmhouse, we often install wooden flooring or carpet platforms to level the ground. This provides a clean, solid foundation for your furniture and props. ### Customizing Your Backdrop Whether you prefer a royal look with heavy fabric drapes and brass urns, or a modern aesthetic with clean acrylic panels and neon signage, I handle the fabrication in-house. This means we aren't limited by ready-made rental inventory. If you want a specific floral wall or a circular mandap-style reception setup, we build it to scale. ### Lighting & Tech Integration Stage lighting is the most overlooked element. Basic wash lights often wash out the colors in your lehenga. I incorporate professional-grade Sharpies and focused LED spots to highlight the couple seating, ensuring the decor pops and the photos remain crisp. For evening receptions, we can integrate cold pyros or controlled pin-spots to create a spotlight effect during your entry or cake cutting. ### Regional Expertise Working in Delhi-NCR, I know the limitations and strengths of popular venues, from the banquet halls in Chhatarpur to outdoor spaces in Gurgaon. I plan the stage width—typically 24ft to 40ft—to ensure it fits perfectly within your specific venue, leaving enough room for guest circulation. If you're planning a destination wedding in places like Jaipur or Mussoorie, my team manages the logistics, ensuring the same quality of craftsmanship arrives on-site, pre-assembled where possible to avoid delays. ## About Wedding Decor by Gaur I'm Vipnesh Gaur.
