## About Contemporary & Pastel Bridal Looks

When shooting pastel, ivory, or nude bridal lehengas, the lighting setup needs to be precise so the outfit details don't wash out. I use a combination of soft studio strobes to highlight fabric texture and warm, directional ambient light to add depth to your portraits. If you are planning a shoot with these lighter tones, mention your color palette when we connect so I can coordinate the background props and lighting gels that will make your specific outfit stand out.

### Why Pastel Bridal Photography is Different

Traditional bridal photography often relies on high-contrast, bold colors. Pastel, ivory, and champagne-toned lehengas require a different approach. My focus is on maintaining a 'soft-glow' aesthetic where the bride remains the center of attention without the lighting becoming flat or clinical.

### My Process for Bridal Portraits

*   **Lighting Control:** I avoid generic bright lighting. Instead, I use studio strobes with diffusers to ensure the skin tones look natural while the intricate embroidery of a pastel outfit remains sharp.
*   **Background Coordination:** As seen in my work, I use rich floral backdrops and ornate mirror setups to contrast with the light-colored lehengas, creating a balanced, high-end look.
*   **Collaboration:** I work closely with your makeup artist. Since pastel looks are often more subtle, I ensure the photography captures the blemish-free skin smoothing and the precise details of your bridal makeup.

Whether you are preparing for a wedding or want a standalone bridal portrait session, my process is simple. We discuss the outfit, the location—whether it's my studio in Ballabhgarh or an outdoor venue in Delhi NCR—and the vibe you want. I handle the posing direction and lighting setup, so you only need to focus on looking your best. My goal is to deliver sharp, professionally retouched images that you will actually want to show off.
