When I painted the Buddha mandala on my own garden door, it took me 23 hours because I believe art needs patience. Whether it is a hand-painted mural on your terrace wall or creating a spot for local birds to shower and rest, I focus on the small details that make a garden feel like a living, breathing sanctuary rather than just a collection of pots. Gardening in a city like ours is about finding a balance between the busy pace of Bengaluru life and the quiet rhythm of nature. My approach to 'Living Sanctuaries' starts with observation. I look at how the light hits your terrace throughout the day and what kind of space will bring you the most peace after work. ### The Artistic Process Every garden should tell a story. I incorporate elements that are personal to you, such as hand-painted mandala murals. These are done entirely by hand without templates, ensuring that the art on your walls is as unique as the plants you grow. It is a slow, meditative process, but it transforms a blank concrete surface into something with soul. ### Designing for Wildlife I believe a garden is not truly alive unless it invites nature in. By selecting specific, dense foliage and creepers like Morning Glory, I design zones that act as natural habitats. You might find a sparrow or a bulbul visiting your balcony for a shower, which tells me the ecosystem is healthy. ### Sustainable Elements My designs prioritize longevity over quick fixes. - **Hardscaping:** I use reclaimed materials or rustic planters to maintain a grounded aesthetic. - **Lighting:** I blend fairy lights with solar torches to ensure the space is usable and magical well after sunset. - **Plant Selection:** I combine sturdy, air-purifying foliage with delicate flowers. If you want something specific, like an orchid that takes a year to bloom, we can plan for it. Patience is the secret ingredient in every garden I build. ## About Manzoor I am Manzoor.
