It is about listening to the track, reading your opponent, and staying in the pocket of the rhythm. Whether it is a 1 vs 1 House round or locking it down to funk, my approach is to stay authentic to the music. It is a space where ego stays outside, and it is just you, the DJ, and the floor. My style is rooted in House and Locking, focusing on the history and the foundation of these dances rather than just flash. I do not believe in over-choreographed routines for a battle, I believe in being ready for whatever the music throws at me. Having traveled across India and participated in various jams, I bring a distinct 'Bade Miyaan : Chote Miyaan' vibe—everyone dances, everyone connects.
