On any given day at our studio, you will find Amrita fine-tuning a floor plan while Akshay handles site coordination, all while our team debates material durability. We do not hide the site dust or the coffee spills because that is where the real work happens. When you hire FMDL, you are not just getting two names on a project; you are getting a team that treats your site like their own. Architecture is rarely the pristine photos you see on social media. At FMDL, we live in the details—from coordinating kitchen workflows to selecting the exact raw stone for a wellness center. Our team is structured to handle the 'drama' of construction, meaning we do not just provide drawings; we provide the site supervision required to ensure the design survives the execution. Whether it is Amrita refining the lighting logic or our supervisors ensuring flooring alignment, everyone here plays a specific part in the 'Form, Mass, Design, and Life' we promise. We believe in transparency, which is why we share our process, the team, and even the challenges. We invite you to be part of a design process where your space is built with honesty, not just aesthetics. ## About FMDL Architects I am Amrita and this is Akshay. We started this journey in 2016 as friends and grew into couplepreneurs. We have learned that the best designs come from a mix of creative vision and the messy reality of site work.
