We believe in transparency because we know that architecture is hard work, and you deserve to know the faces handling your project. We started in 2016 as Furnish ME Architects, and while our name has evolved into FMDL to reflect our focus on Form, Mass, Design, and Life, our core philosophy remains unchanged. Architecture is not just about the final photograph. It is about the coffee spills, the site visits, and the team members who show up every day to turn a rough layout into a functioning office or home. Our team is a mix of dreamers and doers. You have Ar. Amrita Jena leading the design vision, bringing the structured, client-focused approach that keeps us grounded. Then there is Akshay Kapoor, who keeps us honest with the business realities—and ensures we do not get too lost in aesthetic vibes when there is a budget to maintain. We have grown into a multidisciplinary team: * **Designers:** The ones translating your personality into layout and texture. * **3D Specialists:** They ensure that what you see in the render is exactly what you get on-site. * **Site Supervisors:** These are the boots on the ground who manage the actual construction, site drama, and the daily hustle of execution. * **Junior Architects:** They are the backbone of our drafting and conceptual work, learning the technical craft that keeps our designs functional. We don't just hand over a drawing and disappear. From that first sketch to the final polish, our team is there to manage the chaos. If you are looking for a firm that treats your space like their own, you are in the right place. ## About FMDL Architects We are Amrita and Akshay, the couple behind FMDL Architects. We traded our sleep for site visits back in 2016, and we have been learning, building, and occasionally stressing out on site ever since.
