We don't just hand over a plan; we stay on site to ensure the dust, the delays, and the design decisions align with your vision, because getting the execution right is half the battle. ### Our Process: From Blueprint to Reality Architecture is hard. It is a mix of dust, dreams, and daily site drama. People often see the polished 3D render and assume the transition to the finished space is seamless. It never is. Our 'Behind the Scenes' approach is about transparency. We believe in showing you the grit that goes into every project, whether it is a retail showroom or a corporate headquarters. ### Why Supervision Matters Many clients ask why full-time site supervision is necessary. A beautiful design on paper can easily fall apart if the onsite execution team misunderstands a junction detail or a material specification. Our site engineers don't just watch; they interpret the drawings, manage the vendors, and solve the inevitable clashes that happen when pipes meet walls and lights meet ceilings. ### The Reality of Design-Build Our design-build model is about minimizing the gap between the concept and the final site product. By managing the end-to-end process, we handle the messy conversations about budget constraints, last-minute supply issues, and scheduling. You don't have to worry about whether the contractor understood the mood board or why the flooring pattern changed; we handle those pivots in real-time. ### What You Can Expect - **Honest Updates:** No fluff. If there is a delay or a site issue, we tell you immediately and provide the solution. - **Technical Precision:** From GFC drawings to BOQ finalization, we ensure the technical backbone of your project is solid. - **Problem Solving:** Every site has problems. We are there to ensure they don't become your problems. ## About FMDL Architects We are Amrita and Akshay, the duo behind FMDL Architects. We started this firm in 2016 to bring honesty into architecture, and we aren't afraid to show you that the path from a floor plan to a finished room is often noisy, complex, and absolutely worth it.
