We get the test tubes out. Kids handle the beakers, measure the reagents, and observe color changes themselves during our protein analysis or foam experiments. It is not just about watching us; it is about them doing the science, making the mess, and actually seeing why it happens. ### Why Hands-On Chemistry Matters Chemistry is often taught as a list of formulas to memorize. We change that by putting the tools directly into the students' hands. When a child performs a protein analysis or creates a safe chemical reaction, they learn how to observe, measure, and analyze results. These are skills they use in school, but here, they gain them by actually doing the work. ### What We Cover Our chemistry modules go beyond the basics. We dive into: * **Reaction Analysis:** Observing changes in state, color, and temperature. * **Practical Chemistry:** Testing everyday items, like analyzing food for protein content using standard laboratory equipment like beakers and flasks. * **Safe Experimentation:** Understanding the science behind 'Elephant Toothpaste' and other reactions using household-safe items. ### Our Approach in Bengaluru Whether we are conducting a workshop at our science center in Basavanagar or visiting a community space elsewhere in the city, the focus remains the same: small groups (10-15 kids) and individual attention. We ensure every child understands the 'why' behind the 'wow.' It is about building confidence through observation and trial. By the end of our sessions, students do not just know a definition; they understand the process and are eager to try more complex projects on their own. ## About Fun in Science We believe science should not be trapped in books.
