Instead, I look for the fleeting interactions, like the way your grandmother holds your hand during a ritual or the chaos of cousins catching up. I keep my camera ready for those moments because they tell your story far better than any posed picture ever could. My approach to documenting family celebrations is entirely documentary. I treat your family gathering, whether it is a wedding, milestone anniversary, or a reunion, as a story waiting to be told. I focus on candid expressions that reveal the depth of your bond rather than rigid, static poses. You will see a lot of black and white in my gallery because I believe these monochromatic frames strip away the noise and focus entirely on the emotion of the moment. I am based in Mumbai, but I travel across India to photograph these connections. Whether we are shooting at a garden venue, a temple, or your family home, my goal is to blend into the background. I want to capture the laughter, the subtle gestures, and the traditions that define your family history.
