They are water-based, non-sticky, and feel almost like melting butter on the skin. I make these in small, fresh batches specifically so they do not clog your pores, which is exactly why they work so well for summer heat or humid weather. My approach to skincare is simple: if you have oily or combination skin, you do not need heavy oils during the day. You need water-based hydration that lets your skin breathe. ### Why my gels work Most commercial moisturizers use thick waxes that can trap dirt and lead to breakouts. My Gels, like the Saffron Day Gel and the Rice Gel, are formulated to penetrate the epidermis quickly. The Saffron variant is specifically designed to brighten your complexion and fade acne marks, while the Rice Gel uses niacinamide to strengthen your skin barrier. ### The power of night repair While gels are for your day routine, your skin does its best repair work at night. That is when I recommend my Kumkumadi Oil.
