We avoid glue entirely, using techniques like stretching over acid-free boards or custom T-hinging to ensure the fabric stays safe, breathable, and taut without sagging over time. When you have a textile you love, the last thing you want is for it to fade or lose its shape in a drawer. Whether it is a Kantha embroidery, a silk scarf, or an antique rug, our goal is to display it securely while respecting the material. ### Why Textiles Need Special Handling Fabric is reactive to light, humidity, and gravity. If you simply press a textile against glass, moisture can get trapped, leading to mold. We use deep frame profiles to ensure the fabric is not compressed, allowing for air circulation. For heavier items like rugs, we create custom supports to distribute weight evenly, preventing the fabric from stretching under its own tension. ### Preservation Features - **UV-Protective Museum Glass:** Textiles contain organic dyes that are sensitive to light.
