Whether you want to hold a custom 'Times of Pregnancy' newspaper to share your news or prefer a quiet, emotional reveal with your ultrasound print, I have the props ready to go. My Malad West studio is stocked with these creative extras, so you don't need to hunt for props, you just show up, relax, and we figure out exactly what feels like 'you' together. When you're expecting, the excitement is huge, but it moves fast. My goal with these creative shoots is to freeze that feeling. We move away from generic, stiff poses. Instead, we look for ways to tell your specific story. ### Creative Props and Storytelling I keep a stash of props that work beautifully for announcements and maternity sessions. The 'Times of Pregnancy' newspaper is a favourite—it’s witty, cute, and a perfect way to break the news to friends and family. If you have something more personal, like baby shoes, a specific onesie, or your first ultrasound scan, bring them along. We can incorporate these into a flat-lay or a portrait to make the memory tangible. ### Studio Setup in Malad West My studio setup is designed for comfort. If you're doing a solo maternity shoot, we can keep it classic or go a bit moody with lighting. For couple or family sessions, we create a relaxed environment where you don't feel like you're being watched by a lens. It’s just us, some soft music, and a lot of patience. ### Why Keep It Personal? The best photos happen when you feel like yourself. Maybe you want that *thoda natkhat* (a little mischievous) vibe for a couple's announcement, or perhaps something soft and minimal. We chat about this before the session. If you have an idea—even if it feels a bit wild—let’s talk it through. Whether it's a theme shoot or a simple, elegant portrait session in Mumbai, my role is to make sure you look and feel beautiful. ## About Fotosmith Photography Hi, I’m Shalaka.
