I blend rich red velvet, gold lattice accents, and warm, atmospheric lighting to create that classic, opulent charm for your celebration. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This video showcases a royal reception decor in deep red and gold. I focus on creating a cohesive experience using velvet textures and strategic lighting to mimic the grandeur of a royal court. I usually recommend this style for evening receptions where warm lighting can make the gold accents truly pop, and I always ensure the lattice or jaali work is perfectly aligned with the venue's existing architecture to maintain that seamless, premium finish. When you choose a royal theme, every element must work in harmony to transport your guests. My approach centers on the contrast between the depth of velvet and the brilliance of gold. I use intricate Mughal-inspired lattice (jaali) backdrops that add depth to the stage, serving as a sophisticated focal point for photos and seating. ### Why This Aesthetic Works - **Rich Textures:** Velvet drapes provide a heavy, luxurious feel that absorbs light differently than standard satin, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere despite the grandeur. - **Lighting Strategy:** I layer warm lighting to highlight the metallic gold elements, ensuring the stage looks just as impressive in person as it does in professional wedding photography. - **Venue Adaptability:** Whether we are transforming Hiravati Banquet or Siddharth Banquet, I assess the hall's height and structural pillars first. This allows me to scale the archways and floral arrangements perfectly so the decor complements, rather than fights, the venue’s existing layout. ### Planning Your Setup While the red and gold palette is timeless, I always customize the motifs based on your preference. We can incorporate personalized acrylic laser-cut logos or specific floral accents—such as fresh roses or marigolds at eye level—to ensure the space feels like your own. This isn't just about placing decor; it is about setting a stage for your wedding reception that feels substantial, intentional, and classic. ## About Forum Decorators I'm the lead designer behind Forum Decorators, and I live for the moment a couple sees their venue transformed.
