Our coaching team combines athletic experience with sports science to build competitive, resilient swimmers. ## Photos and videos - ![Dr. Sumit Arora, Head Sports Science Coach at Flying Fish, leverages his expertise to lead athletes toward achieving remarkable feats in competitive swimming.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/bbbd9efe-51ac-4201-a0ec-689cfb93373b) ## About Our Leadership Our leadership is not just about poolside instruction, it is about biomechanics. When you join our program, you are not just assigned a lane. You are assigned a sports science profile that tracks your musculoskeletal health, muscle imbalances, and recovery needs, ensuring every session moves you closer to your specific performance targets. Success in the pool is the result of systematic preparation, not just repetition. Our leadership team, including experts like Dr. Sumit Arora, brings a background in sports science to every training session. We believe that a swimmer is an athlete first, which is why our coaches monitor physical red flags and mechanical inefficiencies before they turn into chronic injuries. We structure our training in Gurugram around three core pillars: 1. Biomechanical Analysis: We start with a deep dive into posture, gait, and joint mobility to understand how your body moves. 2. Sports-Specific Conditioning: Our dry-land sessions build the core strength and explosive power required to break personal records. 3. Long-Term Athlete Development: We look beyond the next race, focusing on sustainable growth patterns suitable for swimmers aged 6 to 18. By integrating this data-driven approach with on-deck coaching, we provide a clear roadmap for athletes aiming for national and international competition. We are transparent about the process because we know that when parents and athletes understand the 'why' behind the drills, they are more committed to the journey. ## About Flying Fish Swimming Academy We founded Flying Fish to change how swimming is taught in North India. Our coaches work closely with every family to align long-term goals, ensuring every swimmer understands the reason behind the drills.
