We ask students to put away the eraser. By letting the wrong lines remain, you learn to trust your hand and understand form before you attempt to correct it. It is a shift from chasing perfection to embracing the process of creation. In our Jayanagar studio, the environment is set for focus. We maintain a space free from the distractions of a commercial environment, allowing you to treat art as a form of meditation. ### Our Painting Methodology For our painting modules, we break down complex subjects into fundamental studies: * **Watercolor Techniques:** These sessions focus on managing transparency and water control. You will learn to handle the medium's unpredictability, turning spontaneous marks into deliberate stylistic choices. * **Acrylic Fundamentals:** These sessions focus on layering and building depth. Acrylics offer versatility for those who prefer opaque mediums, and we guide you through color mixing and canvas preparation. * **Study of Form:** If you join our diploma or foundation courses, you are not just painting a picture; you are building a vocabulary of shapes, anatomy, perspective, and light. We also take our practice outdoors. If you prefer to learn from nature, our weekend plein air sessions at Cubbon Park allow you to apply these techniques to landscapes, capturing movement and natural light in real-time. Whether you are a professional or a complete beginner, our studio provides a structured path to rediscover your creativity. ## About Fine Arts Gurukul At Fine Arts Gurukul, we treat every painting session as a sadhana. We do not run a competition-driven school; we offer a space to learn the discipline of art, whether you are starting with a blank canvas or refining your brushwork.
