It is the result of 15 years of consistent structure and clear communication. My dogs are my partners because I treat them as intelligent predators with specific needs, not babies with fur. If you are struggling to get your dog to listen, it is not the dog's fault; it is the gap between what you want and how you are asking for it. Let's close that gap. The photos you see here are not just a collection of my favorite moments. They are my portfolio. Whether it is Ice in the field or my Cane Corso, Dre, learning his role, every interaction is a demonstration of what happens when you stop humanizing your dog and start leading him. ### Why Structure Comes Before the Bond Most owners come to me because they want a 'bond' with their dog, but they skip the foundation. You cannot have a deep, authentic relationship with a dog that does not respect your boundaries. My dogs are calm, well-behaved, and reliable because they know where they stand. They know when to work and when to rest. This is what I call the Kahu philosophy—being the guardian your dog instinctively craves. ### Stop the Blame, Start to Train I hear it every day in Bangalore. Owners blaming the breed, the age, or the environment for their dog's bad behavior. It is rarely the dog. If your dog is pulling on the leash, lunging at other dogs, or failing to recall, he is simply telling you that you are not communicating effectively. I do not fix dogs; I fix the communication channel between the handler and the animal. ### The Result: A Balanced Dog My goal is never to crush a dog's spirit. It is to build confidence. A dog with a job, a purpose, and a clear leader is a dog that is actually happy. When your dog finally understands his role in your house, the reactivity fades, the anxiety drops, and you get the partner you wanted in the first place. ## About Vicky Franklin I am Vicky.
