We source fresh, large banana leaves to create that signature deep green backdrop, which we then layer with marigold strings and brass bells. It is a clean, eco-friendly setup that smells divine and stays fresh throughout your entire puja or function. ### Bringing Tradition Home Whether it is for Gauri Ganpati, a wedding muhurtham, or a traditional haldi ceremony, I find that nothing beats the classic combination of banana leaves, marigolds, and brass elements. It creates a space that feels sacred, grounded, and festive. #### Why This Style Works - **Eco-Friendly & Fresh:** Unlike heavy flex boards or plastic drapes, banana leaf backdrops are completely organic. They bring a lush, natural color palette that photographs beautifully without looking artificial. - **The Details Matter:** I incorporate traditional brass diyas, temple bells, and hanging garlands to complete the look. These small elements are what guests notice first. - **Versatile for Spaces:** We design these setups to fit standard Mumbai apartment ceiling heights, ensuring you get that grand temple feel even in a compact living room. #### How We Work - **Consultation:** We discuss your specific event and the available space. I want to know if you prefer the 'Genda Phool' heavy look or a minimalist banana leaf wall. - **Preparation:** We bring pre-arranged floral strings to minimize setup time at your home. We respect your space and clean up everything once the event is over. - **Customization:** While I love the classic South Indian yellow and green, we can always add pops of color or additional drapes if you want to mix it with a modern aesthetic. If you have a vision for your festival or family function, tell me the space you are working with. I will make sure the decor fits perfectly. ## About Festive Decorators I believe a traditional celebration needs to feel authentic, not just look like a photo. I love mixing fresh marigolds with classic banana leaves because that is the vibe that truly connects us to our roots, whether you are hosting in Mumbai or planning a destination event.
