We are transparent about the process because we know that when you light a candle in your home, you deserve to know exactly what is in it, from the lead-free cotton wicks to the pure essential oils we use. We started Feme Candles because we were obsessed with aesthetic home decor that did not compromise on health. Our studio in Mumbai is where the magic happens. We only use 100% natural, vegan soy wax because it burns cleaner and longer than paraffin alternatives. You will often find us testing fragrance loads to ensure our Bourbon Vanilla or Rose Velvet and Oud scents actually fill your room without being overwhelming. ### The Real Talk About Our Process - **Transparency Matters:** We share our process because soy wax behaves differently than paraffin. For example, if you notice a slight yellow tint over time, that is a natural oxidation process, especially with vanilla-based fragrances. It does not affect how the candle performs, but we think you should know why it happens. - **The Details:** Everything we make, from our Jesmonite trays to our signature holographic jars, is handled in small batches.
