We handle all the decor and cleanup, so you can simply arrive in your coordinating outfits and let us focus on capturing the quiet, candid interactions between your family members. Setting the scene is the most important part of these festive holiday portraits. We design our studio to feel like a cozy winter retreat, ensuring it is warm enough for newborns to remain comfortable in swaddles while allowing families to relax in their holiday sweaters or pajamas. For parents with newborns, these sessions are a gentle way to document your baby’s first Christmas. We maintain a quiet, calm environment, focusing on the peaceful, sleeping-baby aesthetic that defines our style. For older children, the setup includes interactive elements like small props and lights that keep them engaged, which helps us capture genuine smiles rather than forced poses. We manage all the technical details—decor, lighting, and prop placement—before you even step through the door. This leaves you free to enjoy the moment. Many families use these images for their annual holiday cards, so we prioritize a mix of wide-angle family shots and intimate, detailed close-ups of your little one. If you have a specific family tradition you would like to incorporate, please let us know beforehand so we can weave it into the setup. ## About Feather Story by Trishala I'm Trishala, and these festive sessions are honestly the highlight of my year at Feather Story.
