Our process is designed to dissolve that tension immediately. We do not just point and shoot; we guide you through small, natural movements and conversations, turning those initial nervous jitters into intimate moments that look effortless in your final gallery. When you step into our Mumbai studio or meet us for an outdoor shoot, the priority is always your comfort. We believe the best images happen when you forget the camera is there. Whether we are adjusting the lighting for a studio portrait or finding the perfect angle for an outdoor shot, our goal is to help you relax. ### The Workflow * **Guidance over Posing:** We avoid stiff, forced poses. Instead, we give you prompts to interact with your partner or family. This helps capture genuine smiles and authentic reactions. * **Lighting and Setup:** In the studio, we work with various lighting styles, from dramatic shadows to soft, airy glows. Outdoors, we strictly follow the golden hour to ensure your photos have that signature warmth. * **Real-Time Review:** We often show you the back of the camera during the shoot. This builds trust, lets you see how you look, and helps you adjust if you want to try a different expression or angle. ### Why This Matters Photography is not just about the final edited image. It is about the experience you have on the day. By keeping our process transparent and collaborative, we ensure that your maternity or family photoshoot is a memory you enjoy making. We handle the technical side, so you can focus on the connection you share with your loved ones. This approach is what allows us to deliver that classic, minimalist aesthetic Feather Story is known for. ## About Feather Story by Trishala I am Trishala, the heart behind Feather Story. I started this to capture those tiny miracles—the soft maternity glow and messy family giggles—that go by in a blink. In the studio, I am the one adjusting the lights and making you laugh so we get photos that feel like you.
